[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A female Spotted Brown (Heteronympha paradelpha) from the Family Nymphalidae. This species is usually found in moister environments along water courses associated with wetter forests along the Great Dividing Range in southeastern Australia. They one produce one generation annually and they fly between January and April. It was starting to get cool in the Turon area, which is around 800m, so a lot of butterflies were sunning themselves on the gravel road.

Hi Chris,
very beautiful indeed. I have never seen this butterfly before. The pattern is so lively and you have captured it very well.
I like the grass at the corner that give a special graphical composition and fill up the empty space there.
Good thought and good execution.

Regards,
Foozi
