As promised. The Jug Orchid (Pterostylis recurva), this time with an open flower showing the recurved sepals forming a 'jug'-like receptacle.
The sepals will bent more and more downwards as the flower ages.
A very easy species to identify so I am wondering why I have not seen it on my block before now. |
