[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I don't have a clue what this flower is. I saw it near a creek in outback Queensland. I've searched on line to try to identify it. It is unusual in that it has only four petals. If you look behind the flower you will see that the buds are fleshy and green but they then change to dark red. Any Aussies (or anyone else) there who can help?

Hi Ian,a lot of small insects inside the heart of this yellow flower,there is food for all there..ehehe.the macro is excellent made in the perfect exposure and sharpness. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
