Taken whilst working on a private yaught.
We were helping with salt water croccodile monitoring along the endeavor river. This particular night we encountered many youngsters, and many anchoise large females.

Did you know that when they are incubating, that a difference between temperatures can actually change the sex of all that are within the nest!

Cooktown lies along the endeavor river, named after Captain Cook and the ship that was repaired there after comming aground in the barrier reef.

Nice capture, how did you keep the flash from lighting up the eyes?

Good capture Paul, difficult lighting conditions I think, but you managed well. Thanks.
