New Zealand Tui

The Tui is also known as the Parson bird because of the double tuft of white curly feathers at its throat. It is a big bird which loves to drink from the Kowhai. It lives high in the forest canopy and is a great singer as well as being an imitator of other birds's songs.

Really beautiful shot, Pam.
Only thing is that you can make BG little bit darker (this two light flower stuff) and it is a winner :) IMHO

Hi Pam,
Very good composition with the branch and the bird.
Excelent details and tranquil colors.
Well done and TFS

Hola Pam. Preciosos colores y hermosos los detalles de esta imagen. La luz es fabulosa. Agradable POV, DOF y BG.
Encantadora. Gracias por compartir.

Hello Pam,
Excellent presentation here.
The image quality of the overall photo is remarkable.
The composition is delightful, with that branches full of buttons.
POV couldn't be better.
DOF makes a blurry background so soft and pleasant to look at.
The bird is well focused, the plumage had colors so vivids and well saturated.
Congratulations and thanks a lot for share,

Hola Pam.
Una bella imagen

Hello Pam,
Une photo très bien réussie,l'oiseau est bien cadré dans son décor naturel.
J'aime bien la diagonale donnée par l'angle de la branche et le Tui.

You captured very nice moment and it's impressive.

Pam, your presentation is very nice. What is better, is the sharp details and POV. What I would give to hear this bird too.

Hola Pam, Precioso ave y original, bellos tonos, un disparo genial y bg. excelente... saludos Victor

Hi Pam - extraordinary how much this bird resembles the grackles and ravens we see here in the eastern US, though they do not have the white tuft, and certainly are not great singers. Excellent coloration and a good sharp image>
