I was in search of inspiration this afternoon, when I spotted that little one. a cutie!!! Can anyone tell me what kind of bird this is?
(taken at sunset with a 300mm)

Hi LuDivine,
We're looking at a little Silvereye or Waxeye (Zosterops lateralis)
They are very common in New Zealand and often seen in large flocks.
They do tend to be quite shy though as I'm sure you noticed.

Hi Laurent,
Thanks for looking at my recent picture and writing your comment on it.
In your image, the bird is enconced between two rhododendron flowers which remind me of the species that grows in Himalayas too.
The bird is cute but somehow sort of hidden between the flowers.
