A shy mollymawk - Thalassarche cauta - lands by a fishing boat in Foveaux Strait between New Zealand's South Island & Stewart Island. The mollymawk is actually a small albatross and are common in the southern waters around New Zealand.On this particular day I counted around 30 birds around our boat at one time - quite a spectacle.
