Hi Janice! The green colors are brilliant and the focus on the leafs is very good. You have some burnt spots in the photo (righthand side) though. TFS!
I love your stories from Rangitoto Jancie! Looks like it has got suitable climate for me ;-) I like to read books about biology of plants and its adaptations to hard conditions but I see it first time in 'real' NZ world :-) Thank you!

Yes.I used to worry about all the plants I thought were dying too.
Its amazing how the forest regenerates itself when the rains come again.It gets quite brown in the summer.

Hi Janice, very interesting subject and a great note. You could try getting down to the level of these plants and isolating just one of them. As it stands this is hard on the eye, I find my eye searching around for something to latch onto, I hope you see what I mean? Good work.

Thank you for the great notes and the excellent image Janice! Interesting plant I would have thought that the plant was dead too all shrivel up like that! Very sharp and interesting composition.
