There was plenty of room on the runway but my timing and camera position was slightlly off as there is not much room shown infront of this incoming flight. I managed to get a shot of the landing gear down and the wing flaps in the braking position. Hope you like it.

Wow! Great action shot! It looks as though this duck is standing on the water! Thanks for posting!

Hi Pam, as you say a shame it is not the other side of the frame, but you have captured the detail well, a good effort.

Got to be quick! Good shot Pam, and the young drake is showing off his colours well. See his toes up-turned all ready to put on his breaks. Well caught. TFS.

Short runway or not I like it, nice colours like the way the blue sky reflects of the water.

Very good landing shot,good job.

Yeah, I like it Pam. It is DUCK, but very nicely captured. We;ve got plenty of action here, quality is excellent. I like composition - too much space on left looks like DUCK was too fast to capture :-)

Hello Pam, it's just like you wrote; the space which is now on the left should have been on the right. Still this is a very good picture and I would have been proud to make it. TFS!

Nice shot, very good pose and details. It's a bit OE but it gives a good summer feeling.
Well done.

Pam, It's a great in-fight with very good sharpness and details..I like the this long frame also. Well done!

Great capture and sharpness. It's true, it would have been better off more to the left.

Great capture and wonderful commentary on the technical side, Pam! It is a good thing he didn't overshoot the runway, then where would he be?
Very well done to my eye, thank you.
