Another beautiful shot of the Marakopa Falls Pam.
I used to come out here very often when I lived at Waitomo Caves.I would pass here on my way fishing at Marakopa,or take people to abseil the Mangapohue Natural Bridge.
Mangapohue,Marakopa and Te Anga are some of the most beautiful parts of the King Country, and I miss visiting there a lot.
A beautiful shot.

It's a very nice filé with a well balanced composition: enough foreground to substain the falls, but not too much. It's surprising that f16 was possible, but probably the rany weather helped tp preserve the details in the whites.
Well seen, well done!

Hi Pam and nice to see you again :)
What a spectacular view! This is truely impressive!
It's amazing the way a waterfall looks at 1/4 of a sec. and a lake for example at 1 sec...what a huge difference of the motion :)
Anyway, superb work here howing us the entire fall and exceptional contrast realized between the white foam and the darker rocks all around it. The green of the trees give life and natural surroundings to the entire scene, creating a lovely composition all-in-all.
Bravo and TFS

Excellent artistic shot and perfect use of exposure parameters. I like reflection of the waterfall, nice lights and pleasant colour palette. Excellent DOF and details of the image give the shot some charm. Bravo and TFS. Superb done.

Photography of waterfalls is not easy, even if the object can not "escape" ;> The water is still changing, often there are some reflections, problem with light, ect. And probably because of that there are not many good quality pictures of waterfalls here on TN. You photo is really fantastic, I like not only composition and colouration but a great effect of mooving water! Delicate, blurred, white river/stream is just amazing!
Bravo and TFS!

What gorgeous waterfalls, Pam.
I love the multiple cascades and layers thereof.
It is quite a sight.
You captured the flowing waters beautifully.
TFS. : )

There's so many beautiful images coming out of NZ right now. And this is among the best. Very beautiful. Lovely long exposure and composition. Good POV. Very lovely, well done.
Hi Pam, very good waterfall shot. You did a good job on the exposure and the comopsition is nice too. There is one area that is catching my eye and that is slightly left of bottom centre - seems to be some blurring here, what was that from? Good shot!

Very beautiful! When I look at this one I feel as though I'm there or at least wish I was. It's a very refreshing image and is superbly captured. I am amazed at the short response to this capture as it deserves more. Anyway I love it. Happy Holidays. :)
