Very nice sunrise, which I hope is symbolically positive for the new year! beautiful composition with the silhouetted headland meeting the calm sea at low tide. Great amber coloured sky.

A very Happy New Year to us. I am now wondering if you get it first before us on the weest coast of America..or do you get it after us? Surely someone will know.
Another fine seascape for Rob as well....I am sure with all of his white coverings, in form of snow, he will appreciate this warmth and glow of you image. Thank you for dedicating this glorious sunrise to me.It is humbling.
The colours are so vivid and beautiful,I love how the brightest rays are behind the silhouette of the land .
The the colours cast upon the water are beautiful,and the contrast of blue and orange is spectacular.
The horizontal layers in the shot are fantastic.
If you only knew how grey and colourless this time of the year can be here,this shot has made my day!

Hello Tony,
The silhouette foliage on the left making this composition looks good with wide exposure of the sky. The light behind it sets the vibrancy of the sky pretty well and hence the golden reflection on the surface.
