Hi Tony!

Was it really this red live? It is wonderful, almost surreal sky, I actually can't even find the best words for it!
In the fg part I would have made a vertical composition to avoid the little light spot on the right and the power lines, while show more of the sky. But than the ratio of sky and land would either go bad or too much black would appear. I know my opinion didn't help too much with ending up in no decision, but I just tried to think it over :)
Anyway the image is wonderful, the sky is unforgetable! TFS!

Yes I know the feeling of winter approaching and can see the words you wrote in the picture you show....I was also thinking about winter but in dread last year. Now I have found that it is a fun season for photographers.....so maybe you have some hope in this sun rise eh? Who knows what tomorrow brings...?

what an amazing sunrise. It is one of my favourite times of day and this picture shows why so very well. Stunning. the clocks change here means that sunrise is a little later in the day, so i get to see them again for a few weeks before they become to early.

Such phenomenon of light in the cloudy sky at sunrise or sunset is rare to see, Tony.
You have provided us the opportunity to see it in this finely captured image.

What a brilliant shot. The sky looks like it is glowing with heat. At first I thought it was a sunset because the colours are so warm and vibrant, as if it was burning from the heat of the shining sun. In a way it actually looks quite scary to me. The black silhouette is great, and the gradient of colour from yellows to reds is beautiful. Excellent detail in this dramatic shot, that gives the impression of fireworks in the sky. Thanks for sharing, and have an enjoyable day.
