This pair of silvereyes (Zosterops lateralis) I caught in my garden preening each other. There are many desciptions of these little birds on this site, so I will not go any further. I have put a similar photo of a pair of silvereyes on this site but these two put my other ones to shame?

Hi Richard,
Excellent shot of these Silvereyes. The composition is working, details are sharp and colours are natural.

I love the simple composition of that curving twig with these two little guys. It is a wonderful capture. I love all the toning colors and the softly textured out of focus background. It a really nice image.

Hello Richard,
This is a striking bird with the white ring around its eye. I really like your composition showing these two together on the leafy branch. Beautiful light and colours and fine details.
