Sturt desert pea

|One from the archives:|
Swainsona formosa, Sturt's Desert Pea, is one of Australia's best known and spectacular wildflowers. Most Australians have never seen one in the wild. From its name you can work out why. It is the floral emblem of South Australia although it grows throughout Central Australia.
