HAPPY MOUNTAINEER DAY to all of those trek-lovers, mountain lovers and nature lovers. Yesterday we celebrate this day and I was happy after the parade with my ski students, knowing that this tradition of mountain lovers will continue...
From some years ago, each time I start to walk into a forest, ride along a mountain or just drink some mate in a lake side, watching this scenarios I thanks my parents (nature lovers both of them), my mountain teachers (many along this 26 years) and two nature and mountain idealist (Francisco Moreno and Otto Meiling). This day is to give thanks to them, all mountain people who still keep on teaching and practice the mountain principles, and that enojoy life wile walking, learning and watching this beautis.
About the pic:
Taken 3 years ago, during winter season from about 1600mts over sea level, at Cerro Bayo ski resort.
At the pic you can see Andes range. At the left, Cerro Campana (sorry, at this time I canīt remember all other names). Under the clouds, Nahuel Huapi lake; clouds seems like how the landscape was at the glacier era.
Happy day to all!
