Hello Susana,
Welcome to TN!
This is a superb close capture of the Green-backed Firecrown, a species of Hummingbird that I have never seen befor and may a first on TN! The sharpness, POV and BG are all excellent.
Bravo!
Thanks for sharing this beauty,

Ivan

Hello Susana,
what a wonderful surprise you prepared for the TN community! This is one of the most spectacular and technically perfect bird shots I ever saw. Look at all the glittering feathers, the fine details, the colored crown. Welcome aboard TN, Susana. You start on such a high quality level here, you will have some problems to top it in the future. But don't mind, bring your stuff. Thank you already for this one. PS: I added this picture to my favorites list. A green star will appear after the title to indicate this fact to you.
Best regards and all the est,
Dietrich

Hi Susana,
what a beautiful little creature this is,just wonderful to see and with excellent detail and colour.Hummingbirds are all pretty little birds no matter what species they might be and male or female as well.It is amazing that such tiny birds even exist but despite their diminutive size they are very aggressive birds and hold their own very well.I see you have used flash for this shot and that has brought out the colours very well but it has given this little beauty a rather odd looking eye which I find a bit distracting,so I tried a workshop on this birds eye,I hope you do not mind.A lovely and well photoed bird and thank you for sharing it with us. Bob

Hola, Susana:

It is fantastic! What a portrait of this little bird, I can hardly imagine you were that close and that he posed to such perfection. He looks like a little boy having his picture taken at school! What a red crown!
