Hi Hernan,
A big robberfly eating a small flesh fly. Wonderful action captured. Very neat, sharp and fine focus. Perfect lighting. Excellent POV to portray it and a smooth BG. Very nicely composed and presented. Kudos.

Estupendas texturas, y color muy logrado en una preciosa composición. Enhorabuena y saludos,

Hi Hernan,
you have captured a good action of the robberfly.
The DOF is a bit shallow the details are good where is counts.
The POV and lighting are fine.
Well done.

Good to receive your comment on my Hoverfly picture, Hernan. It has been ages since we interchanged critiques.
Coming to your picture, it is a dramatic moment you have captured in this shot. The housefly has just been put out of action by this crafty predator.
A wonderful macro with sharp focus, fine details and lovely colours.

Hello Hernan,
Great macro picture. Perfect focus and crisp clear image. POV and composition are great. Perfect timing to get this shot. TFS,

Hi Hernan,
You are right, this one is similar to European Dioctria species (probably the some subfamily Dioctrinae, but no Dioctria genus I suppose). Its prey is rather typical (if we are talking about size and kind of insect) but - just for fun - please see here to see the real big prey ;>
Best greetings from Lodz,

Hello Hernan,
a well captured scene! Bright light and dark flies are confronted - nevertheless you manage to achieve a suitable picture with high sharpness and nice details to be seen.
Best wishes, Peter

Olá Hernan,
Macro excepcional (fiquei curioso quanto sua observação Home made macro lens, você poderia detalhar isso?), mas parecendo que o inseto maior tem uma pequena deformação no tamanho.
