The title must to that when seeing the design of this new Hoverfly (at least for me) immediately I remembered images of Canadian Totems that saw of child in drawings or photos.

In this post, I included one second image like Workshop, with another perspective of the insect, in order to visualize the beauty and symmetry of its outlines.

It is not easy to classify to one of these animals... are many genres and thousands of species, even some without precise identification to the day of today.

For that they still do not know them, they are small flies (they do not exceed 10mm generally at the most) that they have like main characteristic, to simulate by its colors and forms to be bees or wasps.

I hope that this sample is you like it.

Good shot here too and the WS declares your title very well. Soft coloring, maybe a tiny noiseware sharpening possible ?

Very good macro Ricardo.
Good sharpness, good composition and nice colours.
Well done.

Very good composition, nice colours and detail of the hoverfly.

I like this shot Ricardo, I'm not sure of the Hoverfly ID, and you are right it does look like a totem pole. Great colours and good composition in the shot. Well done.

Very nice Ricardo. Nice details caught in both the hoverfly and the flower. Colors and exposure are very good too. Looks a little oversharpened to me, but other than that, very good stuff.

Great shot Ricardo,
Now I give you a critique, no comment. I like the freesing shot, of this hoover fly, good sharpness, good colours, great contrast with the flower.

Ricardo, This is an outstanding capture, well, done, I like the little "face" he has on his backside! I assume this is the Totem pole image you refer to?

I like the Totem pole and hopefully it is not a female hoverfly- my wife will slap me if I look at another female's backside (even if it looks like a Totem pole) Very good and clear capture. I love the golden color and texture on the flower too.

WOW! This is nice Ricardo, The details sharp and colours very pleasing. Suitable title I can see from photo. Great capture. Tahnx fro sharing.

I like of your composition, Ricardo, the colours are very nice, maybe a little over sharpness, but very nice picture.

Preciosa foto, Ricardo.
¿ En que ISO estabas ? parece que tiene un poco de ruido en cambio la velocidad de exposicion es 1/1600, realmente rápida... aun asi la composición y los colores son muy agradables haciendo la foto artistica. Gracias.
