A suffered butterfly, a fritillary gulf (Agraulis vanillae maculosa), who knows what are the reason of it bad wings conditions, but it´s plenty of life, eating nectar in a wild flower

A very beautiful point of view Dear Hernan, with the great blue of the sky as the background. Sharp and balanced shot. The insect looks very weak though! Nice to hear it was full of life.

Hi Hernan!
Very nice shot, but not what I'd call beautiful, for me beauty needs to be complete. That's not taking away the fact that the shot in itself very beautiful, but I wish the subject were complete enough to be called beautiful!
Thanks and regards,

Hello Hernan,
Very beautiful photo of this wounded butterfly. Excellent sharpness, POV and DOF. Great clear colours and a very nice composition.

Hi Hernan:

This butterfly is so lucky!! it seems have survived of multiple bird attacks. It is awesome as some butterflies be able to have a perfect fly with the wings totally ruined. I have seen some butterflies worse than this flying and doing their typical behaviors of mating.

Toma de bastante dificultad técnica bastante bien resuelta. Interesantes los detalles de sus gastadas alas, con justa definición en algunas zonas pero con un buen encuadre.
Saludos Hernán:

Hi Hernan.
What a superb subject, full of amazing colours, attractive objects and having 3D-effect. DOF is stunning as well as the brightness and clearness of the colours. I like crisp sharp image of the butterfly (despite its huge age) and plant. My greetings and TFS.

Bonjour Hernan
