It is such a lovely bird and you did well to capture him in all his beauty. I like the colours, the composition, and the well defined details.

The Indian Blue Peafowl - Pavo cristatus are normally referred to by the common name ‘peacock’, but that name should apply only to the male bird, as in this case of your photo. People incorrectly refer to the female as a peacock as well, although she should be called a peahen.

It is not wrong (all together) to call it just by the name ‘peacock’, but I thought I'll just explain why 'Indian Blue Peafowl' is the correct or better name to use. There are 3 different species of peafowl’s and commonly they are all called 'peacock' which adds to the confusion. Therefore, it is more appropriate to call it by its correct name.

Just as a matter of interest the 3 species are:-
Indian Blue Peafowl - Pavo cristatus
Green Peafowl - Pavo muticus
Congo Peafowl - Afropavo congolensis.
