Two different Mini Wild Flowers

Some Sundays ago sharing an asado criollo or babacue roasted with family and friends in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, I observed as the children they mounted ponies for an area of low grass.
I began to look with camera in hand to see if I discovered something interesting until I saw this.
For the same footfalls of the horses, these two small flowers were meetings practically evaluating that they could enter in oneself frame.

They are two species of wild flowers... the yellow one and the bud even closed, they didn't have more than 15mm. of diameter, while the blue one only some 6 or 7mm.
They were not to more than 7 or 8 cms. of the ground, for what I could not even use a mini tripod.
I placed the camera on the grass and I elevated the front with a small branch, trying stabilizing it.
I used the rotating monitor to be able to frame and I shot by means of the remote control.

After 5 or 6 shots, the same wind separated the small flowers abandoning the place, before one of the horses finished trampling me... :-)

The blue of the bottom is simply part of the sky of intense color that was seen in that moment by the point of view captured.

My botanical ignorance I has not allowed to identify none of the depicted flowers... if somebody has information on them, it will be very well received.

I hope you like it J

I can imagine how you must have manipulated this great shot under the circumstances, Ricardo. Your description of your effort is very detailed indeed.
And you have created magic in the process, producing one of the finest macro compositions I have ever seen.
The versatile BG you have managed is yet another high point of this wonderful picture.
TFS.

This is a special shot, Ricardo. I am so glad that you have a keen eye to spot them and the skill to record them forever. I'm sure they wouldn't last long under ponies' feet! Sharpness, composition and saturation are all first rate.

Hola Ricardo:

i know one of them Ricardo:-) i'm very surprised to saw that blue one below! Persian speedwell - veronica persica, very interesting that a persian is in Argentina:-) These are so common in my country, really they are so small and beautiful to me, my favourite from my childhood, without looking it is a common, common but beautiful.

The yellow one can be a kind of buttercap or aconite.

What a great sharpness and lighting on both flowers. Your method seems that worked great on this one. Very interesting looking it has, that unopened bud. Wonderful bg colours also!
Bravo and TFS!

Ricardo,
You ALWAYS post the BEST of the BEST.
Love your notes as usual. Highly educative.
Perfectly presented with excellent clarity & DOF & POV.
Love the Frame too.
Best regards,

Hola Amigo Mio Ricardo.
First excuse me I'm too late. Other firends told everything.

The yellow one is a species of Rnunculus from Ranunculaceae. Maybe a Ranunculus marginatus but I'm not sure. Argentina is so far from my country and its possible to grow different and I've never seen before species. You can search in Ranunculus species which are grow in Flora of Argentina. Ranunculus marginatus is first flowered plant among their relatives, in early spring: March. If we think your spring has just begun, its possible to be a Ranunculus marginatus.

The blue one is, as Eruyanik said, Veronica persica from Scorphulariaceae. Veronica persica is a very common plant in Turkey and it grows everywhere, and flowers everytime from Januar to December.

Sincere greetings.
Fevzi

This is outstanding flowers picture. Riches of colours is unique. Details and sharpness are outstanding also composition and expressiveness of the BG. Bravo, bravo and bravo.

Hi Ricardo,
it's wonderful, it must not be a noble flower like a rose or orchid to be beautiful.
Those "simple" ones are very pretty and with brilliant colours, also excellent sharpness, very well done, it's lovely, thanks

WOW, great photo! Not only do we have 3 completely contrasting colours sharing the photo but 3 different flower heads with different textures as well.

While going through older uploads, I ran into this gem of yours, Ricardo. The composition is very appealing. You seem to have focused on the blue flower, and that's where the eye is led at first. Exposure control is excellent, although some more depth of field would not hurt.
