[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a vizcacha (Lagidium viscacia), a cousin of chinchillas that can be found only in the Andes. This one was in the Sur Lipez desert, halfway between Uyuni, Bolivia and San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.

Very interesting image, Alexandre.
Like the content.
Besides, a well composed image. Nice pose. Very good background.
If you could sharpen it a bit in for example photoshop or another editor, it will undoubtedly be a stunner...

Salut, Alexandre.
A warm welcome to TN. : )
This is a fascinating animal. I have never seen anything like that.
It looks like a cross between a rabbit and a squirrel.
If it is anything like a chinchilla, I bet its fur is luxuriously soft.
Merci pour nous montrer un animal si interessant.

Salut alexandre,

sympa la photo !
J'aime bien l'impression qu'elle donne que le vizcacha cherche à apprécier le soleil. et le profil est presque parfait.

nice creature, TFS Ori
