Hello friends and visitors!
Happy Valentine´s day!!!!
I spent the Carnival in Recife in a community located within a rainforest reserve. This pic was taken there.
Jackfruit is a delicious fruit. It is also super for the compote and jelly.
I hope you love my shot.It just for you!
Big hug from,

The jackfruit (alternately jack tree, jakfruit, or sometimes simply jack or jak; scientific name Artocarpus heterophyllus),[6] is a species of tree in the Artocarpus genus of the mulberry family (Moraceae). It is native to parts of South and Southeast Asia, and is believed to have originated in the southwestern rain forests of India, in present-day Kerala, coastal Karnataka and Maharashtra. The jackfruit tree is well suited to tropical lowlands, and its fruit is the largest tree-borne fruit,[7] reaching as much as 80 pounds (36 kg) in weight and up to 36 inches (90 cm) long and 20 inches (50 cm) in diameter.[8]
The jackfruit tree is widely cultivated in tropical regions of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Jackfruit is also found in East Africa, e.g., in Uganda, Tanzania and Mauritius, as well as throughout Brazil and Caribbean nations such as Jamaica.Wikipedia

Ciao Ana, lovely composition with beautiful fruits, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello aNa,
A beautiful striking and clear image of the jackfruit. I took many pictures of it in the beautiful and large tropical reserve near Xichuangbanna in southern China but did not even know what the name of the plant was. I wondered whether it was the famous Durian but quickly learned that it was not. So, your informative image and note are particularly significant to me. Have a wonderful week and birthday. With my very best wishes.

Bonjour Ana,

Bonjour aNa

Excellente photo de cette fruit sauvage,
avec une belle lumière, excellent focus
et netteté, superbes détails, TFS

Hi Ana,
A photo with simplistic yet eye-catching composition, and with perfect sharpness! A very interesting fruit captured the best way. Congratulations for this elegant image.
Best regards, László
