Really difficult to identify, would be "Pyrgus Veturius" but I'm not sure, any suggestion is welcome.

Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
Family: Hesperiidae
Tribe: Pyrgini
Genus: Pyrgus

Pyrgus is a genus in the skippers butterfly family, Hesperiidae, known as the grizzled skippers. The name 'Grizzled Skipper' best describes this genus, but in some countries the name 'Checkered Skipper' or 'Chequered Skipper' is applied to some species. Strictly speaking, 'chequered skippers' applies to butterflies of the genus Carterocephalus.

Davvero difficile da identificare, potrebbe essere "Pyrgus Veterius" ma non ne sono sicuro, ogni suggerimento benvenuto.

Hello Luciano,
I have a hard time just keeping one butterfly in focus, but you have captured two perfectly. Looks like a male courting a female while she enjoys a sweet treat. You could not have asked for a better pose, as both butterflies gave you a great look. Beautiful colors and just the right exposure. I believe you are correct on their ID.

Hi Luciano!
Great macro of these skippers in excellent sharpness and details. A soft yellow flower and a fine blurry BG are adding beauty to this composition. A complete flower would have added more charm but we all know that its not always possible to get the desired shot while chasing our targets with lens. Thanks for sharing,
Best Regards,

Hello Luciano - It looks like "Grizzled Skipper", if you compare other 25 species in the family Hesperi idae. I like its diagonal composition with splendid sharpness and color. Nice work...Thanks for sharing. Regards - Srikumar
