[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For whatever reasons, I always had the impression that Iguacu Falls are mostly in Brazil. I did some research for my trip, and I found that a large part is actually in Argentina. However, I always wanted to see it from the Brazilian side even though I will already be on the Argentina side, so I went through a little trouble and paid $100 and spend a day at the Brazilian Embassy to get my visa, so I can enter to see it from Brazil as well.

Little bit about the Iguaçu Falls:
The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometers (1.67 miles) of the Iguaçu River. Position is at latitude (DMS): 25° 40' 60 S, longitude (DMS): 54° 25' 60 W . Some of the individual falls are up to 82 meters (269 ft) in height, though the majority are about 64 metres (210 ft). The Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish or Garganta do Diabo in Portuguese), a U-shaped, 82-meter-high, 150-meter-wide and 700-meter-long (490 by 2300 feet) cataract, is the most impressive of all, and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. Two thirds of the falls are within Argentine territory. [1] About 900 meters of the 2.7-kilometer length does not have water flowing over it. The edge of the basalt cap recedes only 3 mm (0.1 in) per year. The water of the lower Iguazu collects in a canyon that drains into the Paraná River at Argentina, shortly downstream from the Itaipu dam.

Hello Mr.Way Lim,
Excellent photograph.Amazing scene!!!But looks little bit noisy(or my eye's fault!!)!!!But,Overall an outstanding atmosphere.Like it.
Thanks for sharing,
Kind regards,

Hello Way

The falls, your dominating POV on this wonderful landscape,
the cloudy sky, and the contrast of the color tones
are giving great dynamism to the image, with the
beauty of the rainbow, TFS

Hello Way, a most splendid image of the waterfall with a rainbow as a cherry on top. Great point of view looking out upon the falls. It must be an amazing site from that foot bridge in the center. Definately worth the effort,

What an incredible system of waterfalls. To the left is the fast and deadly torrent of the world, while on the right are the regions of peace and tranquility. Seemingly such different points of perspective.
