Hi all!
As my last post I used ISO1600 because the dark rainy day.
Sorry, but I don't know butterflies. Maybe you can help me with the correct ID.

*Thanks a lot dear Peter Roos (batu) about your kind ID contribution.

I hope you like it.
Thanks and my best wishes for you,

Gulf Fritillary
The Gulf Fritillary or Passion Butterfly (Agraulis vanillae) is a striking, bright orange butterfly of the family Nymphalidae, subfamily Heliconiinae. These were formerly classified in a separate family, the Heliconiidae or longwing butterflies, and like other longwings this species does have long, rather narrow wings in comparison with other butterflies. It is not closely related to the true fritillaries. It is a medium to large butterfly, with a wingspan of 6–9.5 cm (2.4–3.7 in). Its underwings are buff, with large silvery spots.[1] It takes its name from the fact that migrating flights of the butterflies are sometimes seen over the Gulf of Mexico.

The Gulf Fritillary is commonly seen in parks and gardens, as well as in open country. Its range extends from Argentina through Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean to the southern United States, as far north as the San Francisco Bay Area on the west coast. It is occasionally found further north in the US.[2]

Beautiful butterfly in fine composition and with some excellent colors. tfs.

Hallo Francisco
This is my 1st set of critiques since the 27/02 and I missed out on some lovely images. This indentified butterfly is really beautiful. The combination of browns and white is striking and very prominent. The green background brings out the beautiful details to its best. I also like the full framed, centred composition. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Hello Francisco
very beautiful composition with good contrast on a soft background. Good hand of lights and exposure on the butterfly with fine details and contrast. Excellent focusing. Sorry for the ID.

Hi Francisco.
What is ISO 1600 for your nice camera? Nothing. Excellent close-up with glean colours, perfect details and wonderful subject at whole. I like the superb composition of the shot and a very impressive POV. Light-green BG is simply sweet too. Well done and kind regards.
