Hello dear friends!
Today after some rain I found this gentle little spider among the bushes in my garden.I was delighted when I noticed that there was a large equilateral triangle giving all the support to its web!!!
Hope you like it !
All my love,

Large and conspicuous, the Yellow Garden Spider is one of the most familiar arachnids in the Hartman Prehistoric Garden. Females build large webs and remain in the center at all times unless disturbed. They catch appropriately sized flying prey, such as butterflies, moths, grasshoppers, and beetles. Other names for this species include writing spider and zipper spider. This refers to the thickened silk in the center of the web, which is called a stabilimentum. Young spiders create a round mat of zigzags, while adults usually have just a single vertical line. The male spiders may or may not create this structure in their webs. Wikipedia

Hello aNa,
This is a very difficult subject to portray as it is seen by the eye and you have done very well here with clearly showing both the spider and the web. Very often it is a matter of "Either...Or". Well done indeed.

Hello Ana, this very beautiful image, perfect and spectacular spider the background that seems to encompass and merge with the web. All the best, Paul

Hallo Ana,
a beautiful macro shot of this spider with its web, splendid colours and very good contrast between dark and pale green tones, good sharpness, very well composed
Have a good Sunday

Olá Ana!
Não é incomum ver uma aranha backlit! ...

The females of the Argiope family of spiders in our country also make similar webs, Ana. The Yellow Garden Spider from yours seems to be a better 'artist'. The shape of its web is very attractive.
However, it is the way you have captured the web that it becomes an outstanding image is this class of nature photography.
Well done and have a great Sunday!

Amazing shot at this garden spider Ana. I love this kind of tone and details on the web is stunning from well composed framing. The muted green background is contrasting enough to make the image pops.

Bonjour Ana,

Impressive photo Ana! The composition and the colours are excellent

Ciao Ana. Graet sharp. Superb light and graphic results.
