Hello dear friends!
I found this conch in my garden this morning.According to Wikipedia it is a giant-frican-snail, or Achatina fulica.
It had a young individuos in its back.I Know it is a little dangerous because transmits serious diseases as minigites.

The adults of the species reaching up to 18 cm shell length and weigh up to 500 g. In the southeast of Brazil, they arrive within 10 cm of shell and 100 g of total weight. Young people have the same characteristics of the adult shell.

It is an extremely prolific species, reaching sexual maturity at 4 or 5 months. Fertilization is mutual because the individuals are hermaphrodites and can perform up to five litters each year, reaching 50 to 400 eggs per clutch. It is active in winter, resistant to winter cold and drought. Usually spends the day hiding and come out to feed and play at night, or during and after the rains. The tone of the body is dark gray and the shells have bands of varying color, from brown to slightly purple. The eggs are slightly larger than a papaya seed, and have white-milky or yellowish.

Hi Ana,an excellent macro in a difficult light, very good sharpness and colors and beautiful little baby too! Thanks for share, have a nice evening,Luciano

Hello aNa,
First thing that struck me was that you managed such good DOF and then the little one piggy-backing. Very good definition and detail with an informative accompanying note. For example, I did not know that it spreads serious disease...meningites?. We also have such friggen snails :)... they eat the flowers ... but they do not get that big. Well done and best wishes.

Hi Ana,
excellent point of view..Good details and sharpness.Good composition..
Well done..

Hello Ana.
Very ice shot on this two snails. Exposure looks very good. Nice subtle colors with sharp detail. Nice textures in this photo. Looks great.Best regards Siggi

Very interesting and impressive snail Ana. 18 cm! WOW! Beautiful photo, the sharpness is impressive.

half a kilo in weight ...wow, that's quite a piece of snail, I can say! How are you my friend? Is this thing eatable ... 500grams...can challenge even a juice beef steak ! The little guy there has been almost lost on this huge shell! It's a good shot my friend, but I prefer even lower point of view!

Hi Ana, this is a wonderful shot of this snail. Beautiful capture. Bill

You have spotted a beautiful snail in focus here my friend Ana. I like the tight framing filling up the whole snail in the frame. You have a tiny one on the shell as well- that is awesome.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hello Ana,
lovely capture of this snail with a young one on its back. I especially like the baby snail on its back; very well seen. Nice POV and godd sharpness with many details.
Best wishes,

Oi Ana,
Parece-me crescer tanto.

Hi Ana,

Splendid pic of this Snail and young, amazing capture with a superb sharpness and detail, good lighting that compliments the beautiful colours, nice work Ana and well done,
Best Regards,

Bonjour Ana

Bonito trabajo a mi gusto Ana.
Un abrazo: J. Ignasi.

Bonjour Ana,
Quelle monstre d'escargot!
Bon dimanche
