Hello Jose

An almost poster like quality to this shot.Excellent POV and DOF.The details are tack sharp.Amazing details in the plumage under the beak,and the droplet of water on the beak too.I love the deep dark blue BG.But my favourite element of this photo is the exquisite detail and colour of the eye.Excellent work.TFS

You say it tried to bite you, but obviously the taste did not go down well because if this big bird got into a feeding frenzy it would have devoured you for breakfast. Oh sorry, I see it is only a macro (or is it maxi) close-up of a small sea gull (chuckle). Ok, in that case ‘shame’ on you for scarring the poor little bird by pushing your ‘rebel’ into its face. No wonder it bit you (ha-ha-ha).

Jokes aside, without a doubt it is a wonderful in-your-face capture and the details and contrasts are absolutely magnificent. The colours are stunning, the dark blue BG is a wow, and the exposure is perfect. The eye is a knock-out. So alive, so much detail, so brilliant!!!

The detail and clarity in this one are just wonderful.You are easily able to sense the texture of its feathers and moist shiny beak.A clever cut and composition...spot on.The decisive moment of the drop of water was cleverly captured.Excellent work.....well done.

Wow - wonderful capture - very effective close up and excellent composition!

Beautiful sharpness and detail, I especially love the light reflecting off the beak and eye, and the droplet of water just finishes it off really well!

This is an impressive close-up. Details are very good and I like to see this little drop on its beak :) I must not have been easy to balance the white and I think that it is a little OE but it is still very agreeable to look at. This is an unusual picture with interesting composition. Good idea! Thanks,

Precioso y origibal POV, con unos detalles en las plumas. También me gusta mucho el acercamiento y el encuadre. Muy bien manejada a la exposición, sin que las partes blancas se sobreexpongan.
