SCIENTIFIC NAME: Chloraea magellanica FAMILY: ORCHIDACEAE Terrestrial herb, upright, with fleshy roots. Grows in open, sandy, dry places in the transition zone and forest clearings in Patagonian Argentina and Chile. Among the southernmost distributed orchids in the world
