[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During our hike in the French Valley, in Torres Del Pine, It was a lovely sunny day with a few clouds. As I was walking head down concentrating on the rocky trail, I heard a small cracking noise, like a breaking of a tree branch. I continued walking, and then there was a sound of rolling thunder, I look up the sky to see if there was a thunder storm in the distance. No it was the avalanche right in front of me. it was going on for at least 5 minutes and after that the blue sky was gone on that side for an hour or more. It was amazing to see the display of its power, as for those who lived near the mountain know how dangerous that can be, houses, roads, buried in the snow for days. I had never seen anything like it in real life until this one happen right in front of me.
