The Blue-gray Tanager, Thraupis episcopus, is a medium-sized South American songbird of the Tanager family, Thraupidae. Its range is from Mexico south to northeast Bolivia and northern Brazil, all of the Amazon Basin, except the very south.

Maria , this is a nice capture - good composition and the colours are wonderful. The bird is a little out of focus - but what draws my eyes are the vertical lines about head height across the picture - I am unsure what it is but it spoils the shot - otherwise it's nice.... keep on trying mark :)
