|TN friends, I need help!|
So far I have been unable to get an identification of this lovely small Skipper (Family: Hesperiidae) that I found in Ecuador. I have taken to calling it the Gold-Dust Skipper for obvious reasons, but have yet to be able to match it to any picture reference on the web or in my ligrary.
If you can help with the ID, that would be great. If you cannot, then just enjoy this wonderful butterfly.
The picture was hand held with some assisting flash, although I do not that it does much at 1/180th. The day was not bright, more pale overcast, at 2,300m in the Andes. Bellavista cloud forest reserve, Mindo district.

What a beautiful, Skipper!
Perfect shot. Bright colours, clear BG and exact sharpness.
Beautiful colours all round, the skipper is a treat. regards Yiannis
