My first picture of an animal taken in Llanos of Apure state ...
Capybara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris)-or Chigüire over there is the largest rodent of the world. The name of "will capybara" comes from
"Capivara" which means "Lord of grasses" in the language of the Guaranis Indians. It is an animal on which its survival depends on water. One will capybara adult measurement between 105 and 135 centimetres length and weighs from 35 to 65 kilogrammes. large rodent.
The female Chigüire can have from two to eight babies per range with an average of four. Gestation lasts 130 days roughly. Theborn ones can accompany their mother and eat like it, but they drink milk and are
not separated before 16 weeks. Will capybaras are excellent swimmers.
They are the food of the Caimans (Baba) but also of the anacondas or other Jaguars...

Lo Capybara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris)-o Chigüire alla - es el más grande roedor del mundo. El nombre de "capybara" viene de "Capivara" que significa "Señor de las hierbas" en la lengua de los indios Guaranis. Es un animal del que su supervivencia depende del agua.
El Chigüire adulto medido entre 105 y 135 centímetros de longitud y pesa de 35 a 65 kilogramos. La hembra capybara puede tener de dos a ocho bebés por alcance con una media de cuatro. La gestación dura aproximadamente 130 días. Los nuevos-natos pueden
acompañar su madre y comer como ella, pero no se sepan beben leche y antes de 16 semanas. Los capybaras son excelentes nadadores.
Son la comida de los Caimanes (Babas) y también de las anacondas u otros Jaguares...

Wow, what an amazing photo! I love the look o the face on the capybara. It seems it is waiting for you so you can have that lovely lunch at last and admire the view at the same time.... ;o)

Well, seriously this is a fantastic photo with the incredible DOF, pose and composition as a whole.

What is most interesting to me about this shot is the beautiful natural habitat that you have captured as a BG for your capybara. Wow!

A bit puzzled about the sharpness though...not that your image is unsharp or so...
