Brangas caranus (Stoll 1780)

As promised yesterday, today I'm posting another Lycenidae under Brangas genus.

I've found this in the same place where I found the yesterday's Brangas. This has a similar behavior in the same way used to challenge the wind in a bit "crazy" way! In fact, I think the damage in the wings, is possible because of strong wind.

Thanks by stop and visit!

Jesús

Hello Jesus,
a beautifully captured butterfly in its best nature way. The broken wings are well seen and the pattern is still ontact.
Excellent slanting line composed by the tree trunk.
Well shown in good details.

Regards,
Foozi

This one with damaged wing has got an ant for a companion, Jesus.
Once again, a fine capture of this lovely butterfly from a lateral POV. The combination of red, black and white colours on the wing is the most beautiful aspect of this unique species of butterflies endemic to your part of the world.
Thanks and regards.
Ram

Dear Jesus!

Indeed, this fellow has had better times in his life! What is surprising for me is the fact that it probably was the wind that caused this damage! This is impressive. I like your simple and very natural picture very much.

Kind regards

Markus

Ciao Jesus, molto danneggiata ma sempre bella questa piccolina, ottimi dettagli e magnific colori, bella macro, bravo, ciao Silvio

Not the most decent dress around its body, but still beautiful and fragile, friend Jesus. The image is beautifully composed, nicely dis balanced with warm but natural colors. High level of detail, fantastic dept of field obviously and valuable technical data which can be quite useful for many. Bravo!

George Veltchev

Bonjour Jesus,
To have a look at all these magnificent butterflies makes me feel a little bit jaleous. How beautiful they are! I will chose this one because this specimen although it is battered looks still good and I like the way it is posed on the stone and the composition you have chosen. I hope that people take care of your beautiful nature.
Have a nice week
Kind regards
Anne

Hello Jesus,

Very small, cute and a butterfly type worn.
Shooting technique, the ant's point of view is very beautiful and very successful composition.

Hello Jesus,
Wonderful composition. Amazing colours and focus. Great detais, colours and
clarity. Perhabs a small accident damaged the wings.
Marius.
