That is a very clear view of this grasshopper, Henry. Je ne sais pas de quelle espèce de sauterelle it s'agit, mais elle est très belle. Beautiful details and light. Vivid colors and nice contrast with the background. Well done and TFS. : )

I was in La Isla Margarita a few years ago, but didn't see this one ... a very cool photo !
the species .. hmmm, maybe a member of the genera Lophacris or Titanacris (at least it looks very similar), family Acrididae
