[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This very little insect (less than 2 mm) came into my sight and waked up my curiousity. I took the chance to test the close-up position of my camera and made several close-up pictures of it. Until now I could not post it due to the fact that, not being a biologist, I did not now what it was. Today I saw what TN member CARLOS MARZANO (cmarzano) posted.
The insect is a coleopterous, belongs to the Curculionoidea and its family is Curculionidae –gonatocero (elbowed antennas)

Que MACRO con mayusculas con el detalle delos ojos compeustos y su magnifica trompa si busca con GOOGLE en imagenes de la familia puede tener suerte de hallarlo con nombre de genero y especie

Hi Rolf, Outstanding macro work! I was shocked when I saw it, never seen anything like it. PoV is just right, DOF could be slighlty greater (personal choice)but your settings are very good. Regards Tim
