I’ve rotated the shot for presentation.Isn't it looks like a face wearing a mask?
Top to bottom;hair,eyes,nose and mouth...

I know photo quality is not very good. I’ve taken this shot at the same day with ‘’ Eurydema ornata’’.

some info about the bug from http://www.cwgsy.net/private/gsybiorec/entomology/files/pyrrhocoris_files/pyrrhocoris.html :
It is a bug (Hemiptera:Heteroptera), distinguished from a beetle (Coleoptera) by its sucking mouth parts and its development where a baby bug hatches from the egg. Beetles have larval and pupal stages in their life history.
The Fire Bug eats the seeds of Lime trees and of Mallow species and can be found throughout the year in clusters under these plants or running over the ground. Sometimes it eats the seeds of other plants, presumably when the population is high and mallow seeds are scarce.
Other similar red and black species:
It can be confused with another red and black bug of about the same size and shape Corizus hyoscyami, with the differently shaped shield bug Eurydema ornata and with the much smaller Hovarthiolus superbus.

Colors are very good and because you rotated the picture the composition is indeed better. You already wrote about the focus yourself, it's too soft. TFS! Keep 'em coming! :)

Lovely shot Sebnem. Nice composition and colors. The head is focused little worse. Good note.

OK...The focus may be a little soft,but its a very interesting bug,and you've written a good note.
I'm happy to see it here. Some of my photos are a little OOF,but if the subject is interesting enough I post them anyway. Thanks for sharing this Sebnem.

Pretty bug Sebnem. I like all the colours contrasting - well done. The others talked about focus and softness, so you don't need it from me. TFS.

Hi Sebnem, it was trying to scare you away by staring with its big black eyes! No wonder you could not keep your mind on getting the DOF right! ;>)

He does look like a mask, what in interesting and colorful bug. Even though you say the quality isn't good, I think it enhances the "masklike" feel of it.

Hay Sebnem!
Great macro. I love your pictures very colorfull and warm! Good job.

Sebnem, this is indeed a great shot. The insect is very beautiful, and it really seems there's a mask upon his back.

Thanks a lot for sharing.

Maybe f/5.6 was not enough, but it's just a minor nit. About the focus, I read your reply to Greg, so that's okay.

Nice shot, but shutter 1/1000 was too much.
It would have been better to use something like f/11 1/250 to get all in focus.
TFS.

Very nice shot Sebnem.
It's a little soft and I'm agree with Philip about the camera settings. The DOF is very shallow with a 180 macro in this close-up, so you need a high f-number.
Good composition and colours.
Well done.

Hi Sebnem, lovely shot of this fire bug. The colours and composition are excellent but I feel it is a little soft in focus. Keep them coming, well done.

I like the color red in many of your photo's. The mask you show us is really amazing.
Although the sharpness could be better, I like the glinstering in this photo.
thanks for sharing.

Zeno

Wow, this looks like a tiki mask I've seen before. Great eye to have found it.

Hi Sebnem,
Interesting patterns on that guy! Probably made to scare away natural enimies...
You capture him well and avoid reflections in the shiny surface, nice job!

Nature truly is a master creator. What a fantastic colour scheme has been etched out on the back of this small bug!
A lovely picture, Sebnem. You have this great knack for getting the most unusual nature pictures which you shoot with extraordinary finesse and eye for the aesthetics.
TFS.

S.,
It does look like an African "witch-mask". It was a GREAT idea to "rotate" it so we get to see a face in it.
LOVELY.

M.
