[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photo is of a pair of Canadian Geese I have in front of our house that I believe are nesting. They seem to be hanging around here quite a bit. This photo is actually the two of them making their preparations to take a flight. I love listening to them esspecailly when there is a large flock of them, they honk back and forth for quite some time , swimming as they are honking until finally they both take off at the same time. Like they are counting down, 10 , 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 4, 3, 2, 1 TAKE OFF! :o)

Cropped the photo , and sharpened it up a tad, then added a border.

Very nice crisp shot with wonderful lighting and colours.I read your notes and could hear the honking in my imagination.I love hearing them as they fly at night "really,really,high too".A defence they learned to avoid hunters.TFS

Splendid shot of the Canadian Geeses. The natural lighting and the waves in the water make them stand out. The POV is superb. Interesting note and a beautiful place to live in. Very nicely composed and framed. Kudos.

Cute picture of these lovely gooses. I like perfect composition of the shot, excellent details and sharpness of the image and nice natural colours. Pose of this couple is expressive so much and title is selected perfectly. My best wishes and TFS.

Hi Donna,
yes its quite interesting how they seem to communicate before the take off. I noticed that also with Trumpeter swans also.
I like this shot, nice colors and the textures are also very nice. POV, sharpness and framing are very nice.

Bit surprised to hear they are nesting around your place, over here they go much further North than where I live...
A clean composition with the typical birds, good colours and details are captured!
