... before it flies away! Thea 22-punctata, literally the 22-spotted Goddess. This small Ladybird (Coccinelidae) feeds essentially on mildew and other small organic debris.

Je ne savait pas que les coccinelle pouvaient changer de vêtements. En tout cas, ca lui va bien.
Belle macro!

Nice shot Philippe, good colours and a pretty good composition. I think the ladybird is a little soft in focus and there appears to be some noise, you could remove the noise with Neat Image or the like. Otherwise a very nice capture. Well done.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue et la couleur, Philippe. As-tu essayé de masquer qqch. à la gauche de l'insecte... on voit un artéfact de teinte blanche? Belle image néanmoins. Merci de partager.

Philippe, nice vibrant yellow and nice composition, a shame that the focus is a little soft and there is a quite a bit of noise.

Color and composition are great. I agree that it is alittle soft with some noise. Still a nice capture. What were camera settings, and post processing?

Good macro Philippe.
Very nice composition, good details and colours.
But as mention it's noisy in the BG.
Well done.

Good capture, of a small subject that seems to rarley stand still.the DOF is definatley a bit short you say you used maximum F stop but not what that is for the Nikon. I find with this type of macro that single point light metering helps both with the exposure but also with the camera auto focus seems to concentrate the software to a smaller area, at least that is my exprience with my Sony.
