[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the picture of malabar flying frog or Rhacoforus malabaricus. It is a species of tree frog found in the Western Ghats of India.

When I saw Satish's pic of the same species thought it will be worth sharing this pic with you all. In fact Sathish mentioned that he had taken the photo while visiting Coorg. We also found this frog in our garden a day after we had returned from Coorg. He might have hitch hiked in our car :)

Hi Anil, a very different perspective of the malabar flying frog. He also appears to be smiling. Great photo! TFS.

Hello Anil
What a great moment to shoot,
Perfect compo and focusing,
Superb shot.

Hi Anil,
Too crazy frog; what a head!
Kermit is just a 'frog' compared to this fellow...

Hi anil,
were you following me in Coorg? I think your picture is much better than mine. Lighting and pose is something different, and I never saw them like this. Very nice capture. But howcome the blue eye is missing, is it only for female or what?

This is both a nice nature shot and a bit of comedy. Nice focus on the head, good backround and colors.

This little acrobat is so cute and you caught him very well.
The "+++" : composition, subject, pose, POV, sharpness, DOF, contrast on dark BG, colors, exposure...
The "-" : nothing...
Congratulations and TFS.

What an acrobatic character. Love the red toe fingers.

Hola amigo,
postura increíble,
original y detalles excelentes...

This is just too cute Anil. I think if the depth of focus had just been a little deeper this would be a prize winner. Even as it is, it's really a "cool" shot! I love the pose, the expression and the colors.

Amazing macro! Exposure is outstanding as it shows true and accurate colors and many details. Excellent DOF with nice dark contrasting background that makes the subject pop. Great perspective.

Beautiful colors and fantastic POV. DOF works really well, drawing the eye to the to the head and those stunning eyes. Nice composition, too. TFS

Hallo Anil
Although this is not your latest posting, I could not but love this photo at first sight. This frog looks so happy and does not seem to have any cares in the world. When I looked at it on the thumbnail the red looked as it could have been a pair of red shoes he is wearing. Ha-ha for my imagination running away but I can really see a fairy tale in this photo. Good composition and detail. I am sure he is waiting for the princess to kiss him in order to turn into a prince. A wonderful photo with clear details. I just love the big eyes, the spots on its head and the jellybean yellow legs. It seems as if he is clinging on for dear life as he is not sure what to expect in the human world, if that princess really come to kiss him. I enjoyed looking at it. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
