This tree agama's habitat was the tree just in front of our hut in the Lower Sabie restcamp,it was quite enjoyable to see,how he was searching for his prey out from the tree,he looked relaxed, but when he saw something moving like for example a caterpillar crawling over the ground he was quite fast in capturing and swallowing it,I had a change to put this on movie, but the pictures succeeded better when he was sitting relaxed in the tree, hope you like it and tfw

Wow - look at these metallic colour - and soooo close, I like it.
Excellent shot, Paul, those reptiles are interesting but I never had the chance to come so close to an animal like this. I saw some in Myanmar, but they were so shy, perhaps you like to have a loot at them than click here.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful shot, bye

Hi Paul what a beautiful lizard you got here, nice capture of the detailed agama skin, the dark background help to uplift the blue color in its neck, quiet extra ordinary shot, TFS

Hi Paul.
Very impressive by subject, colours and tones shot. Amazing close-up and shooting technique. I like full mutual understanding with your character. Composition and cropping are the best. My warm regards and TFS.

Hello Paul
Wonderful shot of this Tree Agama,
Fantastic colors and compo,
Great BG and POV, Superb shot.

Hello Paul,
Those guys always seem to be so relax... I like this pose you captured, details and composition. I have never seen such creature so far. Well done with excellent background and interesting notes. Thanks,

Gem of a picture from your South Africa safari, Paul.
A fine portrait of this exotic lizard against the bark of a tree. The head of the creature looks rather big but is quite attractive by virtue of that lovely shade of greenish-blue on the chin and the throat.
Was it a night shot?

Hi Paul,
Could have been shot without flash?
Nevertheless well composed image from a wonderful animal.
Frogs, tree snakes and now this one in your restcamp:-)...a lot of visitors.
Well done

Hi Paul.

Hej Paul,
Amazing close-up of this lizard showing amazing details of scales and fantastic colours. I wonder if you managed to capture the whole of him as well?
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
