[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this beautiful emerald green lizard at the San Diego Zoo. Can't remember what species it is, but would love to find out if someone can identify it.

Unfortunately a bit of the tail got cropped, but I hope that doesn't detract from the photo

Looks like a Giant Day Gecko, Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis from this angle. Nice shot of a great looking gecko. As you mentioned it would be nice to see the whole tail, but I don't think it hurt that much.

It's great the way you got the whole animal in focus. Not so easy with a macro like this. Really good color and lighting, effective background.
