[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The light is an afternoon warm light that was exactly on the right direction to give me an opportunity to take this shot, this shot is one of a serious of this cute, little and very quicky bird.
Fortunatly the whole group chose to rest on a tree nearby, I had few moments of magic with those birds.
I found its blinking very suitable to this title and pose, what do you think?

Barn Swallow - Hirundo rustica

Descriptive notes.

17-19 cm, 13-20 g, wingspan 32-35 cm. Most attenuated hirundine of west Palearctic, less bulky than Red-rumped Swallow. Medium sized hirundine with classic form of small bill, wide gape, streamlined body, long wings, and long forked tail with outer feathers forming streamers in adult.
Upperparts shiny blue-black. Underparts buff-white to red-buff, relieved by red chestnut face and throat and blue-black chest band and by noticeably dark undersurface of flight feathers and white spotted tail.

Breeds from subarctic through boreal, temperate, steppe, and Mediterranean zones in both continental and oceanic climates. Avoid and missing only from arctic tundra and desert belts.
Entirely dependent on constant supply of small flying insects taken in fligt in lower airspace over surface, either of shallow water or clothed with low moist green vegetation.
Usually avoids densely wooded, precipitous, arid, and densely built-up areas, preferring pasture grazed by large animals, meadows, and farm crops.

Food and Feeding

Diet almost wholly based on flying insects. Significantly positively correlated with prey weight, food abundance, flight speed when foraging, and average daily temperature. Negatively correlated with time between nest visits, time spent actually foraging, and daily rainfall.

May-Aug in Europe, Mar in S Spain and N Africa. Nest on small ledge against vertical surface, beam or window-ledge in building, less often without support beneath.
Nest is shallow half-cup or cup of mud pellets, usually mixed with plant material, with inner lining of feathers, building by both sexes.
4-5 eggs, elongated elliptical, smooth and glossy, white, lightly marked with red-brown spots, plus some lilac and grey. Incubation 15-25 days, mainly by female.

Indeed, Elroyie, a very nice pose. Great moment.

Excellent sharpness and great pov. The bird is beautiful, and your job is great.

Top shot Elroyie. Nice pose and lovely subject. Just the branches in the background on on the bottom left needed to be cloned out. TFS.

Great shot Elroyie.
A odd pose of this bird.
Very nice composition, colours and details.
Very well done.

Cute ! This is an unusual picture, and as always technically almost perfect. You can also see many feather details that are habitually hidden or less visible (the tail, for instance) I like the title too.
Good job, David

Is The Lady perhaps suggesting something with that wink? Very nice, great stance of the 'model' and details on this swallow, Elroyie.

Great shot, but I'd like to see more details on its face. Great pose.
Well done.

A Brilliant title - sums up the shot perfectly. What grace and flair she has! Wonderfully captured, the light is just amazing, and I love the pink strip in the background sky.

Great pose, details and background.

Oh increable capture - funny and fine - could be one my barn swallows - look familiar :-) thanks Elroyie.

Very unusual pose in this photo. Excellent composition. I would agree with Pam about the branches in the right hand corner. Otherwise a perfect capture. Thank you.
