Swamp lantern (Lysichiton americanus) odiferous perennial, height to 150 cm. Prefers low to medium elevations, wet meadows, forests, swamps & seepage areas. Americans call her „a skunk cabbage”. The plant emits sultry, difficult supportable the scent. To insects this scent does not hinder.
The made photo in the Dendrological Garden of Przelewice, near Pyrzyce.
