[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This posting is for Joanna. Trek Nature's geologist.
While traveling down to Toronto we were held up by construction. half hour we had to wait on the highway. I looked around and thought, hey, Joanna might like this. So, I composed the shot and Voila!!!
Hope you like it.
As people are noticing, I'm pushing the envelope a wee bit. Nature, this is some kind of rock. Just imagine folks, trees grow on this, yes they do and I will capture some in the future for you to see. As well, lichens of many kinds and moss grow on these. Central ontario is very rocky and hilly, this is a common site, especially with trees.

This is nature Mike, isn't it? And can I see snow there? Good posting. TFS.

Mike, I see some cracks in your photo..maybe you can do a better job next time P.P.! ;-)) As far as I know, geological formations are part of nature i.e. "treknature". Well done!

Hallo Mike!
Thank you very much! It's wonderful photo. Layers of this granit are very interesting. I love this composition and thank you very much for this!

Oh, thank you Mike! My wife talked about your photo all yester evening :-) Just kidding :-) Nice picture, very 'geological' with stratigraphics layers very well seen. But I think it should be much better without snow ;-)

Well taken Mike and great note, you pushed and it worked.

unusual shot Mike,
A lot of detail in this shot, and all very clear and sharp.

Hi Mike, it's a nice dedication to Joanna and perhaps it will stop her getting too bored of ducks. I'm not sure where to look in this photo though, it doesn't seem tp have a real focal point. Good work though and good to see something different.

Nice picture Mike.
I like the layers, it's well seen.
Good composition, details and colours.
Well done.
