Woo excellent I love the way the light has lit up the gills. Good POV and DOF. I might of cloned out the dirt on the gills but it don't matter much.

This is a great shot James. I'm not sure of the ID either. (I thought Clive might have known)
I like the way the stipe seems to grow out of the hole in the centre of the knot. It looks a bit like a tornados funnel.
This suits B&W very well. Its pretty much a perfect specimen/photo. Well done.
