[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a shot of a tree fungus taken on Key Biscayne in South Florida. The climate there is semi-tropical, with wet humid (hot) summers and dry mild winters. I liked the way the tissue is translucent and patterned. I do not know the specific type of fungus.

Woo excellent I love the way the light has lit up the gills. Good POV and DOF. I might of cloned out the dirt on the gills but it don't matter much.

A very Arty shot. Welcome to TN - this is a really impressive first post. The BG and lighting are great.
Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely first upload James and welcome to TN.
Black and white works very well on this, good detail, DoF and nice composition.

It looks very interesting. I really like this photo. Good composition and really nice form.

This is a great shot James. I'm not sure of the ID either. (I thought Clive might have known)
I like the way the stipe seems to grow out of the hole in the centre of the knot. It looks a bit like a tornados funnel.
This suits B&W very well. Its pretty much a perfect specimen/photo. Well done.
