[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture while kayaking in the Hillsborough river at John B. Sargeant Park. I saw about 20 alligators in this area, some were swimming and would not let me get this close. Many people go kayaking and canoeing in this area so a lot of the alligators or more comfortable being approached by a kayak. As my kayak is an inflatable, I was a little nervous getting this close to these guys, but all the alligators seemed inclined to keep away from me. I feel that an inflatable kayak is the only type of watercraft suitable to use in an area inhabitted by manatees and other water dwelling wildlife because if I was to accidently hit an animal with my kayak, it's so soft that it could not cause an injury. I did not see any manatees in this area, but many people use motorboats in areas inhabited by manatees. These people have no regard for wildlife or the environment.

Except of the technical part, it's a very nice post. Great water reflection.
Well done.
