During my holliday in 2005 in NZ, I visit Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland in Rotorua. One of the most colorfull places over there is the Champagne Pool. It is a 700-year-old alkali-chloride pool.It is 62 m deep and 65 m diameter. The pool temperature is 74 C. Its pH is reduced to 5.4 by the formation of bicarbonate, a weak acid, from ascending carbon dioxide gas. The regulated pH and temperature contribute to the deposition of rare trace elements and minerals to form a brilliant orange rim around the edge of the pool

Hi Bob, this is definitely a nature shot!! What a place to visit - I must go back again - and with my digital camera this time.
Amazing colours, and a very interesting photo,
Well done

Hello Bob!
Wow, this place is really amazing! So colourful and beauty! I really like this presentation!
The only "things" I would delete are people in the BG (in nature photography I do not like to watch human ;>).
Anyway, very interesting presentation!
TFS and have a nice evening!
