Tangras (Rhamnus Pallassi) forms dispersed communities in central Alborz. It seems that this Kind of Rhamnus prefers dry & stony lands.
This one is in Sorkhe-hesar National Park, which is under protection from 1174 Shamsi, Ghajar period (around 1795 A.D.) up to now.
It most be very very older than Yellowstone national park in the United States!
Unfortunately around park borders, a huge number of offenses is occurring this years. |

Very special landscape, semidesertic, but most interesting for this reason.
I think Alborz could be one of the most important iranian botanic places. I hope they protect very well this marvellous area.
